As a part of my personal training diploma Nutritional advice was covered. Diet is a huge factor in basically everyone’s goals. You can put all the effort of a top end athlete in the gym but if you have a poor diet you will be limited. This is the reason why I will give pointers to help if you are not aware of what is best for your body.

After the initial assessment you will be given food diary sheets to use, minimum I would need are what can be considered as two average normally “good” days and one not so normal “bad” day. For most people it is ‘week’ and ‘weekend’, the ‘weekend’ is the majority of most people’s bad days. This food diary will give you a focus, also it is vital that you keep it with you to fill out as much detail as possible.

From this we can see where the problem areas are and what needs to be worked on. Although I am able to do this I am not qualified to the extent that I can prescribe an eating programme, if for any reason your diet is restricting your progress it will be brought up and I will help you find the further help needed.
